VK SLAVIA's ENGLISH SPEAKING SCHOOL ROWING PROGRAM

We are the first English language rowing program in Prague, and Czechia. English-speaking and expatriate students now have the opportunity to join a truly unique sport.

13 to 14 years old students from schools across Prague will actively train and represent Slavia VK in regattas, culminating in the National Championships.

Based on interest and numbers our aim is to establish both a male and female training group.

The rowing season on the water commences early April, training towards Junior Nationals in July and Club Nationals in September.

GENUINE TEAM COMMITMENT

We expect all students to be fully committed to the sport, absences from training sessions, regattas and failure to maintain or improve fitness levels make it very challenging for others.

The program is part of a life and sporting experience aiming to teach the students not only the act of rowing but also the values of others around them.

The program is goal driven, we will produce National age group champions and share a sense of achievement for the efforts put in by all.

Selection will be based on both quantitative and qualitative assessment with full transparency and fairness.
